Politics

Politics quickly unite or divide people. It's the forbidden topic (either right before or after religion - depending on the crowd).

Both Ma & Pa believe that many men and women gave their lives so we could enjoy our freedom. Freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and the right to bear arms.

They also believe that our representatives (elected officials) have abused their power and are not properly representing. This is a result of a voting turning point. We used to vote on the merits of the individual and now we vote on how "cool" they are.

We are in for some bumpy times until our voting intelligence catches up to the voting style.

We the People...

Please, before you vote or bash, learn.

I am amazed by how many people know absolutely not one thing about the Constitution or Bill of Rights, but feel they have the right to express their uneducated opinion.

Just because we think we should all know this and be proud:

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
